SSE has made its third set of awards to support transformational projects in the Highland region from its Sustainable Development Fund. Awards were given to 15 different projects across the north of Scotland – and we are delighted to tell you that GlenWyvis was one of the successful applicants.
The Highland Sustainable Development Fund is worth £1 million every two years and is being distributed over the 25 year lifetime of the onshore wind projects that feed into it, which includes Dunmaglass, Bhlaraidh and Strathy North. The fund is designed to deliver high quality projects of a transformational nature in accordance with the wishes of local communities.
