Our New Make Spirit is produced using locally grown, locally malted barley and crystal clear water from our onsite borehole. Unhurried fermentation and warm distillate temperatures produce this fragrant, fruity, malty spirit with a long and distinctively spicy finish.


The community of Dingwall is heir to a long and illustrious whisky history that stretches back to the time of Jacobite rebellion and the original Ferintosh Distillery. The closure of the distillery in the late 18th century moved Robert Burns to lament its passing – and we continue to celebrate these historic foundations, taking inspiration from the characters and stories that shape our local whisky culture.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose

    Fragrant, with lavendar, marshmallows, Weetabix and a mildly savoury note.

  • Mouth

    Muscular, sweet and buttery, with digestive biscuits.

  • Finish

    Relatively long, spicy, with an elegant fruity feeling. Pleasingly robust and very drinkable!
